Pete's Wicked Ale broke on the Beer Bowl scene during the season leading up to Beer Bowl V, and has been a top two finisher ever since.

It was drafted prior to the 2007 season by the Rathskeller Division, in the first annual Captains Draft, as an unassuming middle round pick.  No big expectations.  It did, however, maintain a high enough rating to put it through to Beer Bowl V, where it marched through the final four before falling to winner Saranac Black Forest.

In what seemed like a trend (runner up going on to winning), Pete's met prior champion Black Forest in the final four of Beer Bowl VI, defeated it,  and then went on to defeat Blue Moon Full Moon for the Beer Bowl VI crown.

During Beer Bowl VII Pete's continued it's run all the way through to the finals where it was once again matched up against Black Forest.  Unfortunately, ultimately it was defeated this time.

No one could have predicted that a beer would that have that type of run over a three year period with two runner-ups and one victory in a tourneyment which ultimately started with 128 beers.

This is the type of achievment that we want to recognize and hence have inducted Pete's Wicked Ale in to the Beer Bowl Hall of Fame.
Cheers!
